Siege Construct

Large construct, unaligned

Siege Constructs are the Crucible's heavy assault units. Fifteen feet tall, built from reinforced pre-Sundering material with integrated weapon systems, they are the equivalent of mobile siege engines. Only four were constructed during the Age of Light and maintained in standby for nine hundred years.

Traits

Constructed Resilience. The Siege Construct does not need to breathe, eat, drink, or sleep. It is immune to disease.
Siege Engine. The Siege Construct deals double damage to objects and structures.
Void-Resistant Frame. The Siege Construct has advantage on saving throws against spells and effects that deal cold or necrotic damage.
Immovable. The Siege Construct cannot be moved against its will by any effect that would push, pull, or relocate it, unless the effect deals 30 or more damage in the same action.
Ley Line Core (Greater). When the Siege Construct is reduced to 0 HP, its core destabilises violently. Each creature within 15 feet must succeed on a DC 17 DEX save or take 28 (8d6) force damage. Half damage on a success.

Actions

Multiattack. The Siege Construct makes two Siege Fist attacks or one Siege Fist attack and one Ley Cannon attack.
Siege Fist. *Melee Weapon Attack:* +12 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. *Hit:* 20 (3d8 + 7) bludgeoning damage plus 10 (3d6) force damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 20 STR save or be knocked prone.
Ley Cannon (Recharge 5-6). The Siege Construct fires a sustained beam of concentrated ley line energy in a 60-foot line that is 5 feet wide. Each creature in the line must make a DC 17 DEX save. On failure: 45 (10d8) force damage. On success: half damage. Objects and structures in the line take double damage.
Fortified Stance. When the Siege Construct takes damage from an attack, it can brace. Until the start of its next turn, it has resistance to all damage. It can use this reaction once per short rest.
