Void Rat Swarm

Medium swarm of Tiny beasts, unaligned

Void rats are the vermin of the Grey Age --- bloated, hairless things with milky eyes and teeth that glow faintly violet in darkness. They infest every settlement in Aethara, nesting in walls, sewers, and the crawlspaces beneath buildings. Individually, they are a nuisance. In swarms, they strip a corpse to bone in minutes. The faint Void energy in their blood makes their bites fester with an unnatural infection that mundane medicine struggles to treat.

Traits

Swarm. The swarm can occupy another creature's space and vice versa. The swarm can move through any opening large enough for a Tiny rat. The swarm can't regain HP or gain temporary HP.
Keen Smell. The swarm has advantage on Perception checks that rely on smell.
Void Taint. The swarm's bites carry trace Void energy. Wounds inflicted by the swarm cannot be healed by non-magical means for 24 hours (magical healing works normally).

Actions

Bites. Melee: +2 to hit, reach 0 ft, one target in the swarm's space. Hit: 7 (2d6) piercing damage, or 3 (1d6) piercing damage if the swarm has half its HP or fewer. The target must succeed on a DC 10 CON save or become poisoned until the end of its next turn.
