Adventure·Tier 2 — Levels 5–8

The Breathing Dark

Three weeks of silence. One man made it back.

Coming SoonLevels 5–8PDF

The Graymount Silver Mine has been quiet for three weeks. The miners stopped reporting. The militia patrol sent to investigate did not return. The mine's foreman made it back with a broken leg and a story about something breathing in the deep shafts.

The Breathing Dark is a dungeon-delve adventure for levels 5–8. The mine is still full of silver. Something else is full of the mine.

Overview

The Breathing Dark is a dungeon-delve adventure with Sunderwake's mechanics at the forefront: torches have never mattered more, and the darkness in the mine is not passive. The Graymount Silver Mine is a multi-level underground complex that has been transformed in three weeks from a working operation into something that breathes.

The adventure rewards methodical play, resource management, and the willingness to retreat and regroup. The mine's layout works against the party — it was built for extraction, not defense — and the thing in the deep shafts does not wait in one place.
