You grow an inert duplicate of a living creature as a safeguard against death. The clone forms inside the sealed vessel and grows to full size and maturity over 120 days. At any time after the clone matures, if the original creature dies, its soul transfers to the clone if the soul is free and willing. The clone is physically identical and has the same personality, memories, and abilities. In a world where death is broken and resurrection risks Corruption, *Clone* offers something almost unheard of: a clean second chance. The soul never enters the Void. It simply... moves.
