Gentle Repose

You touch a corpse or other remains. For the duration, the target is protected from decay and can't become undead. The spell also extends the time limit for raising the target from the dead, since days spent under this spell don't count against resurrection time limits. In a world where the dead refuse to stay dead and every unattended corpse is a potential horror, *Gentle Repose* is not funerary nicety. It is public safety.
