Silence

For the duration, no sound can be created within or pass through a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on a point you choose within range. Any creature or object entirely inside the sphere is immune to thunder damage. A creature inside is deafened. Casting a spell with a verbal component is impossible from within. In the perpetual hush of Aethara, a *Silence* spell creates something worse than quiet; it creates the total, absolute absence of sound that precedes the worst things.
